Theophylline

Theophylline is used to stimulate muscles in the cardiovascular, respiratory, and central nervous systems. It is a bronchodilator commonly used to treat asthma and other airway diseases. The side effects of incorrect therphylline dosage can include increased heart rate, central nervous system effects and seizures.

Limited Interference

This assay has limited interference from Bilirubin, Haemoglobin, Intralipid® and Triglycerides, ensuring the accurate concentration of Theophylline is recorded.

Wide Measuring Range

The measuring range for the Theophylline assay is 1.49 – 42.0 µg/ml, which will easily detect levels within the therapeutic range of 10-20μg/ml.

Excellent Stability

This reagent offers excellent stability to expiry date when stored at +2 to +8°C, providing a cost effective and flexible approach to therapeutic drug monitoring.
